Innovation hub for Social and healthcare companies

ELSA Testbed in a nutshell

South Carelia Social and Health Care District (Eksote), LUT University, and Saimaa University of Applied Sciences are developing an innovation hub enabling rapid innovation, development, and prototyping especially for out-of hospital products. The hub is part of the Finnish national testbed network, and its creation is funded by European Regional Development Fund for 1.6.2018 – 31.12.2019.

With ELSA you will get a team of experienced professionals to support your innovation process. We offer sparring e.g. with customer data, value creation, and business processes.

Our involvement runs trough the whole development cycle all the way from conceptualizing to the market-ready product. Constant dialogue with clients ensures that all our development processes make it to the finish line.

With ELSA you get to test your ideas and products in practice. We offer real-life scenarios, simulation environments, as well as product impact analyses or information system testing.

Co-innovation together

The ELSA initiative gathers a number of South Carelian enterprises from both ICT and Social and Healthcare sectors to innovate products and services that should be, but somehow still aren’t. By sharing our thoughts together, we can come up with something new and exciting.

By constantly developing digital and smart services even further, the local enterprises and the public sector is provided with tools enriching the lives of of us all.
